Swimming the Hellespont for Elizabeth's Smile

Since our launch in the UK in June, we have received an outpouring of support from people around the world wanting to help further our mission in any way they can.

Justin Fitzpatrick is doing just that by swimming the world's oldest swim, the Hellespont and Dardanelles. On the swim, Justin says:

The Dardanelles Strait connects the European side of Turkey to the Asian side, the meeting point of two continents. The swim is part of ancient Greek myth, and was first officially swum by Lord Byron in 1810.

He's taking on this incredible feat to benefit us to support our founders, Nick and Nancy Hungerford, and all of the families Elizabeth's Smile supports.

Justin's wife lost both of her parents to cancer -- her father when she was just 16 years old. He says he has "seen firsthand how these losses ripple through generations."

Justin's swim is taking place on August 30th. If you would like to support him, you can do so here: https://www.justgiving.com/page/justin-fitzpatrick-1688118367025?newPage=true

We want to thank Justin for taking on this challenge for us as we form a community of hope and healing for grieving children.
